ACT Trip to Haiti: February 2014
Did you make a New Year’s resolution that you already know isn’t going to stick? New Year’s resolutions are well and good, but difficult for us to actually keep. If your desire, however, is to have a greater impact on this world by sharing the love and gospel of Jesus Christ why not start your year out by going on a short-term mission trip to visit the fatherless? What better way to begin 2014 but by literally fulfilling James 1:27 and being the hands and feet of Jesus.
February 15-22, 2014 a team will be headed to hot, sunny and vibrant Haiti to serve the children in our partner orphanages. The trip is from Saturday to Saturday and the team will stay in the America World guest house while serving each day at an orphanage. There are hundreds of children in these orphanages that can use kind and loving visitors to spend quality time with them. It’s a great opportunity to engage the children in structured activates that will bolster their physical, cognitive and psychological development.
