A Family for Drake
Last month, we shared a story about 2 little boys—Bowen, now home with the Harvey family and his foster brother (who we call Drake) who continues to wait for a forever family.
This holiday season, we rejoice with the children and families who will spend their first Christmases at home together, but we also remember the many children who continue waiting.
Will you join us in sharing Drake’s story and praying for this little boy to know the love of a mom and dad? We look forward to all that is in store in the year ahead and pray that many more children, including Drake, would be home for Christmas next year!
Drake is described as an adorable, active, happy child. He loves interacting with the other children in his facility and even will wake up the other children around him in the morning so they can start playing together. He is full of energy, loves listening to music and watching the television.
Drake can understand the nanny’s instructions, has a strong imitating ability and can speak some words of the local dialect. He has a very good daily routine, eats well and is loved by those at the institute. Everyone that knows Drake hopes that he will have a family soon to share his wonderful bright smiles with.
Please take a few minutes to consider how God would have you be a part of helping this precious child, whether that is through praying, advocating, or inquiring to learn more.
