7-year-old Scottie needs a forever family!

Scottie is a calm and mature 7 year old boy our team met in China.  He was so easy to hang out with while our team was visiting him. His speech is clear and he talked to friends,  nannies, and to me very willingly. He shared that he loves dogs, and had a great time watching the animals at the zoo.  He was fascinated with construction machines that were working beside the road.  When we asked about his favorite foods, he eagerly shared a long list, including hamburgers, noodles,  and dumplings.  He is an expert at eating with spoon and chopsticks, and even tried our a knife and fork to eat his pizza.

He likes to draw, was able to write numbers and write his name with a little effort.  He presents as a very smart little boy and we know he’d be a joy to any family. He memorized the opening performance for our camp and performed with a smile.

He tried to help me improve my terrible Chinese by teaching me all the parts of the body.  He led me around a store, then showed me where all the good items were.  He learned patty cake immediately and then started inventing new clapping patterns.

Scottie takes medication 3 times a day for epilepsy and has not had a seizure for 2 years.  He was diagnosed with hydrocephalus. While his file doesn’t indicate a diagnosis for a vision condition, he appears to have amblyopia, which is also known as lazy eye. Our team observed him pulling some items and books closer to his eyes when observing/using them.  I can just imagine him in my family. He wants parents very much.  Is he your son?
