Indian Waiting Baby: Bright-eyed “Evan” Loves Attention

Baby “Evan” is a 7-month-old boy with beautiful bright eyes, sweet smile, big round cheeks, and spiky black hair. His orphanage caretakers obviously love him very much and describe him as loving, quiet, content, alert, and expressive. He likes to be around the other children, and coos when given attention.

“Evan” has a moderate congenital heart condition and regularly sees a cardiologist. He is otherwise developing normally according to his age.

The United States has some of the world’s top hospitals for pediatric cardiology and surgery. If adopted, “Evan” could not only receive the medical care he needs for his condition, he would, more importantly, receive the love of a family.
