2022 in Review - America World

2022: A Year in Review

We close out 2022 with hearts full of gratitude.

Life after the pandemic continues to be challenging for all people across the globe. However, God continues to open so many avenues for us to serve the most vulnerable children — by feeding them, providing for their most basic needs, and giving them hope for a future.

If you have not yet partnered with us through a year-end, tax-deductible gift, please read the highlights below and consider joining us in this sacred work:

  • In 2022, we welcomed 37 families home as they returned safely with their precious children from India in their arms.
  • Our adoption program in Ecuador officially opened in May 2022, and we have a number of children waiting to be matched with families who have completed their home studies. Please pray for the children – including sibling groups, older children, and children with significant medical needs – ready to find new homes.
  • We are looking to complete accreditation in Colombia by early 2023 so that we, Lord willing, may connect even more children with their forever families through adoption.
  • Despite tragic conditions in Haiti, we continue to provide food and other necessities for children in two orphanages.
  • In Ethiopia, eight girls are thriving in Bete Hosanna, our transitional home for teenage girls. We plan for them to graduate this spring! They will be the second group to complete this life-giving program.
  • In China, we trust God to move in mighty ways for each family and child who waits. Please join us as we pray and look toward a future with unfailing hope. In the meantime, we strive to provide support and services to those waiting.
  • Our post-adoption program has big plans to launch many new services in 2023.

We are still reaching for our Season of Hope end-of-the-year goal. Your gift of any amount can ensure that we reach this goal and that all of the work mentioned above will continue into 2023.

With gratitude,
