2014 ACT Leader Training
Plans for our annual leader training are underway! On February 8, our leaders from all over the U.S. will convene in Nashville, TN to gear up for the mission trips they will be leading. We are getting excited about this wonderful time of fellowship, training, and encouragement. If you have been praying about leading a trip for ACT then we invite you to consider joining us for this special training. There is no registration fee for the training and we will have staff from our corporate offices in McLean, Virginia giving presentations throughout the day. Breakfast foods & lunch will be provided for all attendees during the training day on Saturday the eighth.
Those who are arriving early enough on Friday also have the opportunity to join us for dinner at a local favorite restaurant. Those in the Nashville area who may be considering going on a mission trip with ACT are welcome to join us for this dinner. Please RSVP by emailing missions@awaa.org so we can have a good idea of numbers and reserve enough space to seat everyone.
Please join us in prayer for the ACT Missions Department at America World Adoption as we enter our second official year of the program. While America World has been sending mission teams for many years to the countries in which we partner for adoptions, the ACT Missions department was created to provide concentrated and on-going support to our orphanage partners around the world. There are many orphans in the world who are not adoptable and our collective responsibility as Christians is to all of the fatherless in every part of the world.
You can check out more information about the purpose of the ACT Missions department by visiting our website. You’ll also be able to view the trips we have scheduled for 2014 and access our online application process. We hope you’ll consider joining us on an ACT Missions trip this year!
