18 China Waiting Child Referrals Received
Just before the CCCWA's closure for China’s National holiday, we received 18 children’s files from two orphanage partners! The group included 10 boys and 8 girls and does not include the 8 upcoming referrals we announced last week, so we still expect to receive those files in the coming months. Below is a breakdown of the ages and medical needs seen in this group.
Ages:
- 16-24 months (9 children)
- 24-36 months (6 children)
- 4+ years (3 children)

- Repaired Anal Atresia
- Hernia
- Hypoxic ischemic encephalopathy (HIE)
- Congenital Heart Defect (VSD, PH)
- Repaired esophageal Atresia
- Cleft Lip & Palate
- Ear Deformity & Hearing Loss
- Repaired Cataracts
- Tumor
- Developmental delays
- Repaired Spina Bifida
- Hand/Finger Deformity
- Missing Hand
- Genu Varum (Bowed legs)
- Malnutrition
