12-Year Old, “Kacey” Needs a Family
“Kacey” is a 12-year old girl who is introverted but likes to play with other children her age. She has been diagnosed with motor and language delays and congenital nystagmus of both eyes. Her file indicates cerebral palsy.
She can stand with assistance, but cannot stand up or walk alone. She can hold objects such as a toy but cannot tightly grasp objects. “Kacey’s” file suggests that she would benefit from therapy.
“Kacey’s” file is from one of our orphanage partnerships and is designated as Special Focus so a family at any stage of the adoption process is eligible to review her file.
Current America World families should contact their Family Coordinator to get more details about adopting “Kacey”.
Families who are not currently in the process of adopting with America World should fill out a free PRE-APPLICATION and our Intake staff will follow up with you right away.
Any questions about “Kacey” or any Waiting Child can be directed to our China staff at WaitingChildren@awaa.org or 800-429-2269.
