Actually, international adoption is a complicated process but that is where a good adoption agency comes in. Within each of the 5 steps below are many important aspects that can make or break an adoption experience. From the moment your application is accepted, America World begins working with families to assure everything is done according to the strict processes of each government entity and that all of the "i's" are dotted, and "t's" are crossed. You want an adoption process that is smooth as possible, and so do we. Although there are always unexpected 'bumps' in the road to adoption, America World is there to quickly and carefully assess any issues and resolve them.
While it is a complicated process, the 5 major stages below help families to see the big picture of international adoption. Family Coordinators will provide a checklist for each step in the stages below, check and re-check everything, and make the process as painless as possible. They are there to help and encourage families from application to post-adoption.
